It was a good day. I had my last ad hoc presentations branch meeting:

And most everything got in the car (thanks Miranda), except the fan. This made one person in Columbia Heights that much cooler, but Miranda was sad:

Tomorrow, it will be up to Cleveland and then over to Indiana/Ohio line hopefully. Maybe even to the home of the Irish.
Finishing this post with a paraphrased quote:
It's 2500 miles to Wenatchee. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
PS First person to comment with the correct movie reference gets a free pizza. I must be with you for you to claim the pizza.
I have no idea what movie that comes from, which is unfortunate since I want pizza. Although not right now, since it's 7 a.m.

ReplyDeleteI know the quote too, but looks like I'm too late to claim the Pizza.
Glad to hear that is the theme for your travels. That said please don't go through Cook County. What would we tell Gramma and Grandpa?
Have a safe trip,
Love Mom

Grandma has to get church meal ready
ReplyDeleteand I have been mowing grass. We have a John Deer tractor and it`s a little tricky on the hills. Your Mom seems to being well at school. Maybe we can sit in on one of her class some day. Good Luck on your Trip GP&GM
Hello Aaron, You are covering the miles. A realgreat trip Pictures look great. I saw the picture of Catalina and she looks like a wippet. My Grandpa would catch rodent, put in pit and see how maney were destroyed in given time by dog. There was money put on it. Not too plesant. That was about 1877. Starting to warm up again. Rasberrys are taking a beating. The Heratige didn`t do well at all. Pulled them up. They were not to be planted in zone 9 only 2 through 8. The Carolina Reds are doing well. The gooseberrys I got from Georgia two were good and two not good at all. Good Trip tomorrow, Love GP&Gm
